mozilla.org releases Mozilla 0.6

Today mozilla.org releases Mozilla 0.6 which is based on the branch that
was used to create Netscape 6. Members of the Mozilla community
requested that mozilla.org produce a release that was as close to
Netscape 6 as possible.

This release enables developers to build extensions or
"not-quite-plugins" which can be added to an existing Netscape 6
installation seamlessly. This tag also provides a stable point that can
be used to create browsers on platforms for which a Netscape 6 product
isn't available or for those who just prefer an open solution.

The Mozilla 0.6 release does not contain many of the features or bug
fixes which can be seen in our current daily builds. Our most recent
daily builds are available at
