Ok, I'm only an outside observer, and could be talking complete
rubbish, but here goes : (if nothing else, I'll trigger someone more
knowledgable to post the correct info :-D)
M18 was the last milestone release from the Mozilla Trunk.
Moz 0.6 is a release corresponding to Netscape 6.0
I assume that the source excludes some proprietary NS/AOL code, but
can broadly be regarded as the source of most of Netscape 6.0
Moz 0.9 _was_ intended to be the next major release from the Mozilla
Trunk, as a stepping stone to Moz 1.0.
HOWEVER, many people pointed out that much progress has been made on
the trunk since M18 and, since Moz 0.9 is still months away, it would
be worth doing another release before then.
This "other" release is Moz 0.8, which I believe is due sometime in
the next few weeks.
