Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity!

One of the greatest challenges i've had while implementing
Chameleon/Theme Builder is trying to make editing a complex skin like
modern easy to do.
So far i can't. ;-)

If the UI design is kept as simple as possible, this will make skinning
much easier.

If i put Chameleon in front of a designer, the first thing they say is
"why is it so complicated? Why is a button sliced up into 9 different
pieces?
Why is the toolbar cut into three pieces?" etc . . .

The current UI for the most part is a work around to get the job done
and has not been designed for skinning. This is an important issue to
me.

I am glad to see the UI space now start to be opened up for discussion
and involvement.
I wish it happened exactly one year ago today, who knows where we might
be.
This however, is a very positive step.

Thanks
