I use both Commercial/Netscape 6.1 and Mozilla builds daily, and don't 
have any problems with profile switching.  Can you describe the problems 
you've been having?  One thing to keep in mind, is that Netscape 
releases usually come after a Milestone, off the Milestone branch.  So 
you're going to encounter the same type of problems that you would see 
when making a profile in say .8.1 then trying to use it in .9.  There 
shouldn't be any problems with that, or with using that profile with the 
beta, but in reality, there are a few.  Let me know what they are, and 
i'll try and get bugs filed on those that I can reproduce.
