Both, of course. As long as its beta, it won't be trusted. As long as
APIs aren't frozen, developers will have to keep holding back on
Mozilla-based software.
Thankfully, Mozilla is very close to 1.0 in quality. The question is
whether we'll get a 1.0 release any time soon. Furthermore, many of the
things necessary for 1.0 quality aren't being worked on as much as they
could be, because people don't seem inclined to work on them until right
before a 1.0 release. It doesn't appear we'll get UI polish or frozen
APIs until there's some pressure to get 1.0 out the door. Meanwhile,
performance and feature work retard stability. As a result, we're not
getting to 1.0 quality as quickly as we could be.
