My mistake for my earlier posts and not completely reading this
thread. From what you wrote it seemed to indicate that you had
managed to solve your problem and get the desired effect using a
different syntax. Reading through this thread however, even if they
syntax is correct, you're still not doing what we've discovered to
work:
1. The file you want to edit is NOT "security-prefs.js" it's
"prefs.js".
2. Also, make sure that you exit Mozilla completely BEFORE editing the
file, otherwise all changes will be lost.
Make sure everything is followed and it should work.
