It's really easy to offer a solution: download Firefox, and buy a Mac. But this is like asking a snail to become a hedgehog; it is simply out of the budget of way too many users to rush out and buy a Mac. Those that can do so, do so!

I'm probably going to regret replying, but here goes. :) Why Mac? What's wrong with any of the hundreds of linux distributions? Linux distributions are normally free, and the ones that aren't are a lot more reasonable than shelling out $799+ (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore/) on a whole new Mac, and runs on just about any architecture out there. How bout SunOS 10 for x86. I'd imagine there is even less chance of getting a virus on Sun than any linux distro. It's free to boot.
