What might help a bit is if Mozilla displayed slightly more informative
messages about security issues than it currently does.  For example if you go
to a crippled-crypto site all it displays is some variation of "I don't have
anything in common to discuss with the other side", which seems to imply the
browser is at fault.  Saying "The other side is only capable of X, Y, or Z,
neither of which provide any real security" would make it more obvious that
it's a problem with the other side and not with Mozilla.  Perhaps providing
an additional option to connect just this once at a lower security level
(along the lines of "Trust this cert for this session only") would help too.
