The gist of my bug report is to change nscom.h to generate a compiler error
if the deprecated XP_PC is used. This still hasn't been done and it would
only take two lines of code.

I'm not sure anyone ever announced the XP_WIN change. I read this group
every day and I never noticed anything about it until it tripped me up. It
took me two days and disassembling some code to figure out what had
happened. I don't mind that the change was made I just wish the compiler had
alerted me to it.
