As I've gotten several mails addressed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] from frustrated netscape 6 users who tried uninstalling it and were left with broken Windows file associations. They were told that the missing application was Mozilla, not Netscape which made them think that mozilla.org was the proper place to complain. The application name in the file type should be configurable so distributors of mozilla can easily change this to the name of their app. (e.g. Netscape, Beonex, Bloatariffic, etc) Or doesn't mozilla set file associations? Is that something that netscape adds on?
I downloaded Netscaspe 6 for free some days ago. I had a lot of problems with my email (yahoo and hotmail) that's why I uninstalled it, but now all the applications -like scanned pictures (jpg)- I'm not able to open them. there is a window that says: this is a Mozilla jpeg image file and that I need the location for Netscp6.exe (that is not in anymore for sure)what should I do? I don't know what di I do wrong when I uninstalled the program...please I work a lot with graphicsCristina
