What platform? Which progress bar: download, extraction, or installation?
When a progress bar is merely showing activity, not progress as a
percent since we may not know the upper bound for a task, then it
traverses back and forth. Such a progress bar is termed an "activity"
or "indeterminate" progress bar and is standard usage of the widget.
