Interesting stuff... Listening to "Dream Sequence" right now. I like
the broken beats. Oops... now it changed to "Easy Muffin'". Whoa!
This is cool slow one... More comments later...
But which d&b artists have made rhythmically wild stuff with brutal
sounds and no melody whatsoever? I liked that stuff the most. This
more melodical approach isn't exactly my thing (nothing wrong in it,
but it's just not my cup of tea, so to speak).
The best d&b tune I've heard was a 4 channel Amiga MOD. The group's
name was 1in10 and the tune didn't have any name except the file
name... Heehee.... as you may guess, I haven't found the mod
anymore... Anyway, it was a wild one. 8bit 11 khz samples are mighty
cool in d&b....
