sound forge noisereduction (not the directx one, that sucks ass) is very
good. it also creates these artifacts on the sound after noise removal but
it is most likely because of wrong settings. i have successfully denoised
lots of worn-out vinyl with it and i've had no problems. there's lot's of
options on this one and i can post some screenshots of it later. gotta get
to home first..
