Have you tried with a pair of good speakers?
They'll reveal an extremely annoying "bubbly" sound in the treble.
Rock music with a lot of open sizzling hihat (stuff like SoundGarden) is
impossible to enjoy! (for me anyway)
I'm no HIFI-nerd (the kind of people that say coaxial cable sounds better then
optical(!!) - such people exist!) and many times when I think something is
sounding great, that kind of people walk by and tell me the quality sucks, but
with THIS (128Kbit MP3 stereo) I, myself, can tell the quality stinks....
After all, it's just 64Kbit/channel.
To Michael: I was not asking you to do it, just to explain why not, and I
fully understand your reason. I know what it's like to fancy something
special, though it may not actually be real important.
I would like to do it myself, but I'm only learning to program, and have still
a long way to go....:(
(I'm still not asking/begging - just explaining)
