[MP3 ENCODER] 3.13+ compilation problems

3.11 and 3.12pre's compile fine on my machine (RH 6, 2.2.9 kernel) but 3.13
- 3.15 mangles various .d files with the cpp command line syntax help while
running make. Has anyone else experience this? The only thing different I'm
doing is comenting out the GTK lines since I don't have xwindows.
