FAAC on Linux w/ my quick hack (doubt it affected quality, but it might
have) decoded with a Win32 CLI decoder.

FAAC Applaud @ 96Kbit: Sounds like bladenc at 64kbit. :)
FAAC Applaud @ 128Kbit: Sounds better then lame at 96Kbit (less artifacts),
                        but noticablly worse then lame at 128Kbit 
                        (muffled sounding, little artifacting)
FAAC Applaud @ 160Kbit: Sounds a bit better then FAAC at 128Kb, still worse
                        then lame at 128Kb.

Seems preety promising, considering how bastardized the ISO code release
was.
