I think that EQ and MP3 aren't good friends, because of the masking
effect.
Some sounds that aren't audible with no equalization (masking effect)
and not coded in the encoding process.
But with some equalization, some of these sound are audible and aren't
in the mp3 file.
I suggest for good equalized mp3 ... equalize the wave, save the new
wave, then encode the wave
Maybe in can be implemented in encoding process by someone from this
list
