I know that this does not pertain directly to lame, but I felt that you
all might be able to answer this question.  Are there applications that
would allow me to analyze the "syntax" of a mp3 file.  That decodes, and
parses the stream  into its corresponding parts enough to see differences
between mp3 files, and the different methods of different encoders.  I
dont want a graphical analyzer, I'm looking for something more wordy.  If
there is not such a product, then where is a good place to start looking?
