I investigated this a month or two ago. The major problem is Lame's use of
global variables. ACM needs support for multiple instances of the encoder.
The secondary problem is VBR. ACM doesn't support it. Other than that,
it seems fairly easy. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to implement it
that
I expected I would have.
