I was just going to note that now with the new 3.83 I'm getting albums
averaging 220kbit/s (-V1 -mj -h -b128), and I saw you fixed some in
the CVS already:

I downloaded 3.84a1_b from Dmitry's site, and I must say the result is
great :).
the best thing that happened in the 3.80->3.83 you can see on
http://users.belgacom.net/gc247244/best_3.png
but the filesize was very big. Now with those 384 "minor tweaks" the good 14-16kHz
frequency
result is still there, but at a lower average bitrate:

Also, all hard to encode clips still sounded ok, as they did with
3.83, but had too few bits with <3.82.
The places where >=224kbit/s are taken now, _really_ need it (imho), but
I feel that some of those 160 could be 128 and 192 could be 160
because they sounded fine already at lower bitrates. Only some
cymbals and applaud absolutely need 224 and up.
