I've got some input about this, certain albums, not necessarily live ones have conjoining tracks. When I decode them (whether it's with Winamp, lame, Sonique, etc) I don't notice any "skip" between tracks after I have burned to a CD using DAO. I know there is possibly silence at the beginning and end, but it is not noticeable to me whatsoever. I think some people are just anal about these kind of things.
