Actually there is a bug in the current in_mp3.dll (Nitrane, Winamp's
MP3 decoder). Justin is aware of it and says he'll have it fixed by
the next release ... but there is a input plugin you can get at
http://www.geocities.co.jp/Technopolis/9674/in_mpg123.html
(it isn't off the Fraunhoffer decoder though, it is off of the
mpg123) In test that I have performed it has followed the ISO spec
exactly where as the normal plugin has been off ...

i tried using that mpg123 decoder with winamp. it was the worst
sounding thing i've ever heard in my life. it couldn't go for more
than half a second without popping, crackling, or clicking ...

Yeah, I have in_mpg123 a try, and I have to admit, it sounds
unbelieveable.

Maybe it's your spine, you shouldn't stay hunched over a computer
