MP3ers boys still says about 320kbps at MP3...
Eh... In Czech national radio is use digital sattellite 192kbps upstream
MP2 and daily backup is made at 112kbps MP2, stereo 48kHz. In case of
reprise non-previously recorded programs, such as live events, they use
this backup for transmission!
And quality...? From FM broadcsting you cannot hear difference between
original and 112kbps MP2 backup !!!
>From digital satellite receivers you can hear some loss in quality.
Note, that czech national radio - one POP station (LoQ), one Hi-Quality for
real art, one MidQ inbetween have BEST quality sound (minimal additional
processing) which in europe you can hear with really good equipment, with
boomboxes you will hear better (s)Hit-Stations.
