Thanks for pointing this out. In an attempt to be brief and to the
point, I may have oversimplified. I don't mean to imply that I feel that I
did not get my money's worth. I am very happy with my card. But Pierre is
not expecting to use his card the way I use mine. The intended use was
"playing my mp3 collection (mainly 128kbs quality) on my (very standard)
HiFi equipement, converting my old audio tapes to mp3" He did not say
anything about listening to CDs on his computer. Given the exact question,
I believe that Pierre can save the money on the 1024 live. If he wants to
take advantage of the digital CD link and the real time processing function,
then the extra money is well spent.
