LAME 3.87 doesn't seem to compute well the number of frames in a
VBR mp3 when decoding. Maybe an error reading the VBR header?

        lame 3.86 :

$ lame --decode a.mp3 a.wav
input:    a.mp3 44.1kHz MPEG1 2 channel LayerIII
output:   a.wav (wav format)
skipping initial 1105 samples (encoder + decoder delay)
Frame#  6773/6774    32 kbps

        lame 3.87 :

$ lame --decode a.mp3 a.wav
input:  a.mp3  (44.1 kHz, 2 channels, MPEG-1 Layer III)
output: a.wav (16 bit, Microsoft WAVE)
skipping initial 1105 samples (encoder+decoder delay)
Frame#  6773/16407   32 kbps        ....  S ....

        The wav outputted by lame 3.87 is slightly larger than the other
one, but at first sight both of them seem to sound ok.
