Both of whom suggested that I change to a different C compiler, either
3.0.3, or 2.95.
I did the following:
CC=gcc-3.0.3 CFLAGS=-01 ./confgiure
Then edit Makefile.unix and make sure the CC_OPTS is -01
This seems to have worked. I am no longer getting any errors when
compressingn .wav files to .mp3 using the '-h' option.
Note: Unless you change the CFLAGE/CC_OPTS to be '-O1', you will get
this error.
