Subject: A question regarding the lame encoder

Hello, I have a question regarding the lame encoder and was
wondering if you might be able to answer it. I am using lame
in conjunction with eac (exact audio copy). The problem is
that whenever I encode an mp3 at 256 or higher kbps, when i
play the file back there is no sound unless I click or otherwise
touch the progrress slider on the mp3 player. No sound at all,
until you slide the progress button just a little or even just
click it. Recording at 224 kbps and lower work fine, however.
Can you help me to solve this problem?
 Thank You,
 Josh

Actually, Microsoft is sort of a mixture between the Borg and the
Ferengi.
