Changing default setting needs concensus. And at least for me, I disagree to replace with --preset XXX of the current default setting. 1. It slow. You won't say "CRAPPY" only from the encoded sound quality. 2. Some people says, and I confirmed preset decrease the sound quality in some case. But these problem is almost (but not perfectly) solved in the experimental branch. 1. is solved by the huge structure change and optimization, 2 is solved by block switching code fixes.
