Can anyone point me to a CD ripper that will allow me to use Lame
with my own switches and that employs CDDB instead of FREEDB
(which seems unable to keep up with the new CD content and has
very spotty coverage of labels outside of the mainstream compared
to CDDB)?
Audiograbber only allows FREEDB and its developer refuses to
support user specification of genre. He says the ID3V1 genre
list is good enough and can find no motivation to support ID3V2
user defined genres. (Actually I don't think he knows how to
modify the user interface and lost the coder who did.)
