You have to lower the priority of the process (like the "nice" command under
linux). If you are using a front-end, it is likely that your front-end
allows you to specify priority. Otherwise, you can use the task manager: if
you right click on a process in the process list, you will see in the
contextual menu an item allowing you to change the process priority.
