So, i can presume that the best settings would be produced by the current one. Any explanations for the existence of the other's settings?
I friend of mine told me that ATH type 3 was designed to produce better results than the default used by LAME. I've used in the command line but not very info about it. Can you point me some literature about the different types curves and the reason why one should use them?
