Following a call for logos posted at the LAME web site and some online forums, more than 190 images were submitted to developer appreciation.
After months deliberating, the active developers reached a consensus on an image to represent the LAME project as its official logo: http://lame.sourceforge.net/logo.gif Very big thanks to everyone that contributed proposals, and congratulations to samwell101 for creating the chosen logo.
