Well In the very least,
we're already two person strongly wishing this feature enabled
I'll have a look as you suggested and check if I could enable this,
but I fear it would take more than a few days for me to enable this,
I may only beg you to do it, as you seem to be able to do it in a snap.

Hi Aaron,
that only works for NCBI databases. If you build your own or use data
libraries from elsewhere, you are stuck.
I really really like mpiblast, but because it doesnt handle fully
support the nal files, we arent using it to provide the blast service
for our users - we dont have one huge data library rather loads of
sections.
Any chance of putting it on the feature request list? :-)
