I've bundled up an alpha2 tarball. This replaces the alpha tarball. http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/wbhart/mpir-1.2-alpha2.tar.gz
It fixes some issues with --enable-cxx caused by a broken autotools installation and adds sparc64 and powerpc64 tuning values. No reports of problems from the sage group and tests pass on their virtual machines. Bill.
