Woohoo my first post...

I think the Linda Runbeck thread borders a big issue for
Minneapolis.  We are a huge voting block and tend to be much more liberal
than most of the state

Secondly, almost all of our local races are decided well before
the general.  It seems to me that we should help out in suburban
districts where the differences between candidates are more stark, the
stakes are higher and volunteers are harder to find. 

Seeing as how my home district (59) has no real contests, I'm devoting
most my energies this election year to helping friends in Senate District
53;  Phil Krinkie has a hell of an opponent in JoEllen Johnson.  

I think Phil Krinkie has had something to do with Minneapolis issues.
