We have had several posts recently attacking Democrats and/or our currently elected officials and accusing them of not representing Minneapolis citizens, of being partisan, of being ward heelers, of not providing leadership, lack of political will, etc. Sometimes these posts end there and sometimes they then go on to talk about the virtues of other parties. Could folks, when you want to attack one party or a set of elected officials, could you please speak to a specific issue? Also, could you explain what you think should have been differently on that specific issue, how you feel this should be achieved, and if you are stumping for another party, how your party would have provided a different outcome? It is impossible to have a dialogue on this list when folks speak in generalities because usually folks speak in generalities which are outcomes we all want. Also it seems unfair to those parties and those elected officials who can never defend their actions when we on this list speak only in general terms.
