Just a thought, but how much would it cost the city to add water, sewer,
lights, streets side walks, fire mains and all the other accouterment of
a residential area to the Minikahda property?  Maybe we are saving money
by keeping the land in grass and timber.
Also, I understand the property is a wildlife refuge and preserves a
large part of the city's diverse bird population.
