Andy,   

Surely you are not taking the position that there is a presumption that outside 
agitators, not  Nader supporters where responsible for  disrupting the Gore   event at 
Macalaster.    Now  it is possible that is the case, but I think it is a more likely  
assumption that it was in fact overzealous Nader supporters who denied   other U.S. 
citizens  their right to free speech.   

The  people that choose to disrupt the event should have been  brought under control 
by the Green Party  Nader supporters that  put out the call for them to show up at the 
event.  If that wasn't possible  Macalaster campus security should have start  
ejecting and/or arresting the  protesters  if they refused to  cease and desist.    

After all if they feel that strongly about the righteousness of their cause, they 
should be willing to pay the price for  practicing civil disobedience and  fill up the 
jails and courts with their  persons.
