I'm still uncommitted on the library referendum.  I'll probably vote for
it.  But since it's a pretty major investment it does deserve some scrutiny.

I'm moved by the critique that it doesn't necessarily need to be
downtown.  Perhaps it could be placed in the near south-of-downtown, like
next to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, for less capital cost?
I understand that it needs to be transit accessible; but many locations
near downtown are pretty good in this respect.  Even better are the lower
priced areas within the downtown transit zone.  How about old St. Anthony?

I really have found the current location to be an impediment to visiting.
