The City in Brazil is Curitiba, 100 miles south of Sao Paolo and I have
been working very hard to get there as it is toted as "the most ecological
city in the world". Besides the planned bus system they moved a river
(that flooded 1/2 of the city every year) and made canals and creeks and
planted thousands of trees, and along with LRT system have other incredible
programs which I would be glad to cover off this e-list with those who are
interested. My trip is planned for late 2001- early 2002 if all goes well.
