OK - here's one for the group. I recently received a letter from the City of Minneapolis telling me that my water meter battery needed replacing and I should call it's contractor, RMR Services, in order to make an appointment to have this done. I did, someone came, and as he stood dripping all over my front door mat, I asked him to take off his boots. He told me that company policy prohibited this. I told him no one was coming in with their shoes on. (Even Mr. Rogers doesn't allow this!) He said he couldn't, so I sent him on his way. He returned the next day, I guess just to see if I were kidding. So - reasonable or unreasonable? D. Klein Kenwood
