Gosh, you forget those folks that have small
children. Walking your small child(ren) three or
four blocks is a bit difficult on a nice, sunny,
warm day. I can only image what folks would do
on a day like today and having to walk that far
to a bus stop.

If the bus stops are three or four blocks apart,
that would assure that many folks would have to
walk at least four or five blocks, but up to 10
blocks to get their bus.

I am considered to be a "healthy" 50 year old,
but I can tell you, walking four to ten blocks to
get a bus would truly make the bus system
inaccessible to me.

We are trying to make transportation more
accessible to folks and I don't think your
proposal is the answer.
