Finally (!) the Minneapolis City Council is starting to move forward in 
closing the loophole in the city's living wage job policy.

Too bad it took four years of pressure and a notice from the legislature 
that the city was in violation of state law to get some of these City 
Council members to act....otherwise big projects like the downtown Target 
store would have been covered a long time ago.

Too bad it took all this pressure just to get City Council members just to 
guarantee $9/hour jobs in exchange for $150 million taxpayer dollars.
