I think that salesmanship R.T. talked about was convincing companies that
Minneapolis citizens are the best kind of workers to have as employees. And
we do that in two ways: 1) education investment, creating the best educated
citizens in the world and 2) liveability investment, creating the best
possible city for people to live in. I believe there are a variety of ways
we could accomplish each of these goals. And we can do both without
providing huge subsidies to wealthy corporations.
