Mr. Ford resents my comment as to his disingeuous
reply in my estimation. I had no complaint with Mr.
Ford's response time. Indeed, I'm somewhat
flabbergasted and just a littled flattered he felt it
necessary to reply in just 11 minutes. Most people
never reply to me.
For reasons known to those who read the rules of this
forum I was prohibited from forwarding Mr. Ford's
reply to my questions without his prior consent.
Imagine me resorting to rules as a defense!
What struck me as disingenuous in Mr. Ford's reply,
and since he has called me on the carpet for it I feel
I am entitled to defend myself, is this answer to what
I hope would have been questions asked by city
officials a party to this "deal": "You just proved
that it doesn't take long for someone to get beyond my
level of expertise."
I would think that as Deputy Executive Director of
MCDA Mr. Ford must understand exactly what is going on
with this "deal". If he is not, we, as a city, are in
much worse shape than even I, a lonely voice crying
out in the wilderness, cares to imagine.
I grant Mr. Ford permission to release my e-mail of
Friday, January 26, 2001 at 2:14 pm and would hope he
would also release the full text of his reply. I trust
the members of this forum to judge for themselves if
Mr. Ford's response was disingenuous.
This "deal" stinks as does so much around City Hall
and its environs and Mr Ford's attacking me for
allegedly besmirching his character will not change
that fact.
The proof of Mr.Ford's contention lies squarely on his
shoulders. I stand by what I stand.
