I wonder if there is an education old-timer out there who would know what
the 1970s curricula presented. I think the early 1970s was the time when
the Southeast Educational Alternatives started up - from it grew what we
now have, magnets & other schooling modes. I had two children in Tuttle
at the time and both went to the Southeast Free School - one of their
classmates was Phyliss Kahn's daughter Tamara. At that time I knew
basically nothing about the Junior & Senior High Schools. Any cost
comparison must include a component that adjusts for the schools as they
are now as compared as they were in the 1970s.
