At the Stevens Square Community Organization's annual meetings
and all elections for board members, we require id along the lines
of what the proposed law asks for. Renters are able to use a copy
of their lease as well as any photo id. Employees of area
businesses are also eligible members, and they can use any pay
stub, showing location of the business, as proof.

Also (and here's one for the legislators on the list), we allow eligible
members/voters who do have proper identification to "vouch" for
eligible members/voters who do not have proper identification.
They fill out a form in front of a notary public who legitimizes them.
Just like same day voter registration!
