The AFL-CIO is overly cautious with its endorsements. This is a thank you to incumbents who have supported projects that their membership support. The other unions will likely follow the AFL-CIO's endorsements. However, in races where there was no endorsement, the other unions will be free to endorse a candidate. The Building Trades will announce endorsements soon, and the Teamsters will endorse in a few weeks.
