Who was the last Minneapolis resident elected Governor? (Yes, Arne Carlson
was an alderman here, but he didn't live in Minneapolis when he ran for
governor, and Jesse Ventura grew up here, but lived in the exurbs during his
run...)
To be honest, I don't know who the last Minneapolitan governor was, though I
did note in tomorrow's Strib (posted tonight) that list member, Indepedence
party member, and Minneapolitan Alan Shilepsky has formed an exploratory
campaign for governor. Go get 'em Alan!
