Hi R.T.:
Thanks for posting your responses to the Stonewall DFL questionaire. I've
always wondered why it is relevant for Stonewall DFL endorsement whether a
candidate agrees not to run against the endorsed DFL candidate.
It used to be that a candidate would not get Stonewall endorsement without
making a strong commitment to abide by DFL endorsement. I'm not sure
whether that is still the case. It's problematic..... sometimes the
interests of those who Stonewall represents--GLBT democrats are a bit in
conflict with the interests of the DFL.....
Last year, as folks might recall, there were DFLers who were crossing over
to go to GOP caucuses for John McCain. Some of those folks might be
potential DFL supporters of a non-entrenched and non-establishment DFLer.
Anyway, R.T. I really would like to hear your response to Karen Forbes'
story about the MCDA method of snow shoveling. It's one of the most
ludicrous things I've heard for a while.
